In those times when the old JAWA bikes were painted, the RAL system did not exist. Therefore, there is no clear assignment to the RAL system. JAWA declares the original color with "8850." This original "JAWA-red" was exclusively used only until 1974 (with rare exceptions). From the Jawa 634 on, were found motorcycles varnished in different colors. "JAWA-red" is available with that marking, in paint shops in the Czech Republic. There, one should ask for the following: | Acrylmetal LV EM 010 - JAWA 8850 | 1.0 Liter | | LV PC 244 (Thinner) | 0.5 Liter | | LV BU45 N (Hardener) | 0.33 Liter |
Please note: This would be a new color! There would be a difference in color/shade due to the ageing and weathering of the original paint. Don't use sprays for total painting.
